Draft Wrap-Up
Good afternoon!
HUGE round of applause to our Lead Critics who did a great job in today's draft! Each critic left the meeting with a DRAFT of assigned team shows for the season. Here is a recap of the information shared with our Leads at the draft:
- Assigned shows are going to shift around over the course of this week as Cappies Leadership takes a look at conflicts, driving distance, and spread of shows. Every team will have 5 shows assigned to them that work for the majority of the team once things are finalized.
- The list will be considered finalized on Friday, September 27 at 5:30pm at which time volunteering for shows will open.
- Directors, keep an eye on your inbox. On Monday we will be sending a form to collect show critic maximums. Cappies Shows host a minimum of 54 critics, maximum 90.
- Directors, please also be aware that there is the possibility that I may be in contact with you to see if we might find another showtime for your Cappies show. I will make every effort to not resort this, but due to critic availability in some instances it may be unavoidable.
Reminder that we have mandatory trainings this Wednesday (Herndon HS) and Thursday (west Springfield HS) 5p-7p. If you cannot make it to either training, you must register for the virtual make-up session on Monday, September 30 via the link that was shared in the training info email. A copy of that message can be found here: https://cappiesnca.squarespace.com/cappiesnews/upcoming-training-sessions
Thank you Lead Critics! We will see all of you new/returning critics and mentors at trainings this week!
